These laws will only effect poor people. Rich people will always have a way to leave the state or get a doctor friend to do it on the weekend without any records. These neo-confederate assholes think the South will rise again and taking away the rights of half it's citizens to bodily autonomy is the first step.
To be clear - while both laws are completely unconstitutional, the Georgia law DOES include exceptions for rape and incest. The Alabama law specifically does not.
These hypocrites have no problem getting abortions for themselves or their family. Sure, they feel bad about it, they "know" that it's wrong. But it's unavoidable! They're not some careless slut that gets pregnant every month and just throws it away, like all those other girls. This was a genuine accident! Sure they feel bad, but there's nothing they can do!
