What did they expect a fucking a response praising the impact of being in a war zone? I know they were looking for an “I used my GI bill to get my Masters in X” or some other positive kickback. But reality is often disappointing.
If you haven’t, go look for the articles about the Navy Seals that were warned against reporting their chief for War Crimes. It’s scary how little human lives mean to some people.
