Having arrived at Jökulsárlón about 5 minutes before this light show started, I didn’t have much time to explore. I knew I wanted to get a higher vantage point so I hopped on the roof of my car and set the tripod up through the sunroof which worked a lot better than I expected! It was by far the most intense and quick moving aurora I saw on my trip. I'd also recommend Jökulsárlón at night if you can, I've never been at a more peaceful place
