I used to lift up my grandpa's dog's ears and see tons of these guys hanging like grapes. I would take them out slowly throughout the day because if I pulled them all out at once he bled like crazy. I hate ticks.
I remember when I was a kid our neighbors dog came over and had these all over.. My father called them grape ticks and it almost made me puke seeing so many on the poor bastard. It sounds bad but my dad threw tick powder all over it and all the ticks started falling off it. It was so nasty. Dog looked so happy that someone cared enough to deal with them bastards..

Oh god... I remember pulling this fuckers off my cousins dog every summer when I'd help on their cattle farm.
We'd smash them with hammers in the bed of the truck.
