Sitting alone in my favorite diner at 4AM with a fat stack of eggs and bacon, and a cup of black coffee, is as close to heroin like bliss as I want to get.
I love food and hate cooking. My relationship of 3 years ended and eating out is one of the main things I missed. I have started going out by myself, mainly breakfast or lunch, dinner is a little more awkward. I love it though and it is half the price!

Is that a thing? Eating alone is considered being lonely? Why would that be weird? Why would you need a companion to eat at a restaurant?
