My roommate and I decided we live in a meme timeline. Basically we are a simulation and whoever is in charge had erased the Mayans as a point of reference, like saving in a game before doing something dumb. Now whoever is in control is just seeing what kind of crazy stuff he can o to see what would happen.
I'm increasingly convinced that the world ended in 2012, and we're living in some sort of AI attempt to simulate normal life, but that it could not quantify the butterfly effect.
People have always been saying that the future is weird. Imagine what people were saying when cars and planes were being made publicly available, or when world scale wars started happening.
