The low strings in this episode were so haunting. I had to rewind several times to relive them. They so powerfully accentuate every emotion the story, acting, and film making already create.
Remember how right before the battle began, double basses played those iconic downward glissandos? They weren’t just there to sound cool, they were imitating warning sirens. Three loud, striking noises, followed by a silence. Unbelievably awesome idea
I sometimes listen to the GoT or WestWorld soundtracks on repeat. Love this man and everything that comes from his mind. I couldn’t imagine creating anything even 1/100th as beautiful as he does.
