Most of those could be combined into one called Basic Finance. I agree that it would be beneficial. Still a large chunk of high schoolers would blow it off and then complain about their poor finances in their 30’s.
Man I heard an old classmate of mine complaining that we never learned how to budget in high school. She sat next to me in our personal finance class. She just didn’t pay attention because it was the last period of the day and she was checked tf out already.
That interaction has really made me cynical about people who complain they weren’t taught important skills in school. My default assumption is that these were offered, and the person just either didn’t take the class, or took it but didn’t learn anything.
