As a 36 year old dude with no teeth. I agree. I spent ten years in pain every day until I could afford to have them pulled and get dentures. Sometimes the pain was completely debilitating to the point that all I could do is curl in a ball and cry. Most time it was just a constant ache that literally never went away. I would randomly wake up with half of my face swollen so bad I couldn't see out of the eye on that side. I would spend days, sometimes over a week eating only soft foods that didn't need to be chewed because any pressure on my teeth would send me back into a major toothache. By the time I went to get them pulled I had been draining puss from my gums twice a day for over a year. I still don't openly smile, and pretty much had to reteach myself to do it because I spent so long avoiding it.

They're not wrong. You will regret not taking care of your teeth. Dentures are not fun to deal with, but I will take that over mind numbing pain any day. Brush, floss, and use mouthwash. It's worth the effort.

Only floss the teeth you want to keep.

I haven't been to the dentist in like 7 years... I shall book an appointment tomorrow.
