I hate hot takes like this they're so fucking stupid. Sure, if I see some dude in body armor with a rifle at my rod & gun club I won't be alarmed if anything I will probably laugh at the larping operator. If I see a dude in a vest with a rifle walking into a mall I am probably going to be a slightly more concerned.
