I honestly don't understand how someone with 4 horses can't afford $250-375. Obviously, I'm ignorant on the subject of show horse upkeep, but if you told me that the price was $250 per horse, I'd nod my head and think that that seems reasonable. It cost more for me to take my frickin house cat to the vet.

4 hour one way? That alone should cost 200 for the time and gas money. Shouldn't a horse owner know how expensive horses are?
