no crap. I have carried every damn group I was ever in in college. One semester we had to give a presentation every monday and we took turns doing it. Once we couldn't contact a group member whose turn it was on monday.
So I made the presentation just in case she didn't. Sure as shit on monday, she comes in with nothing. Didn't apologize or say anything.
I went back to university, me being 10 years older than most others in the room I found that the younger folk weren't dumber than me, just not as driven.
I had one class where we had to make a group and it looked like there were already a lot of cliques so they formed groups with each other and whatever was left was myself and 3 other people who didn't know anyone else in the class and was too afraid to join a group. I thought for sure I was fucked but it was literally the best group I've ever been a part of in University. Everyone did their part and we met up every week to work together on our presentations... I wish all my groups were like that.
