This happened to me once. It had a collar so I pulled over to check for an address. No address but he jumped right into my car. I called my job and told them I’d be in late, took him to the park and played while we waited for the humane society to open up so they could check his microchip. I called back a couple days later and his family had called looking for him and he was back home. Fun morning.
