I walk my dog around the block and sometimes my legs feel like they are walking weird - like my feet start to angle out too much. So I then concentrate on walking normal, over think it and start sashaying down the road with all these weird different ways to walk. I must look ridiculous

If I focus on putting one foot in front of the other, I walk like I’m having a stroke.
If I focus on simply moving my body forward, I walk with purpose.
The moral of the story is that micromanaging fucks up even the simplest tasks.
