Betrayed Olenna who was in alliance with Daenerys who had dragons, so they can serve Cersei, who actually killed their liege lord (Mace) and both of his heirs. Get killed because they refused a chance given to them YET AGAIN by Daenerys to keep their lands - they refuse.
If you ask me, their death might be the realest portrayal of anything in this show. They fucking deserved it just for their stupidity.
