A group of Israeli settlers was documented Saturday hurling rocks at a Palestinian family in a West Bank village, but none of them were arrested.

The Israeli army said the "friction" between Palestinians and Israelis ended when soldiers and border policemen dispersed the crowd.

A video of the incident shows a Palestinian mother letting her children into the car, while other family members walk around it. The settlers then come running down the road and start throwing rocks from behind a nearby vehicle. The mother's family then rushes to help her and the children out of the car.

Urif residents say about 50 settlers came to the village's eastern neighborhood, smashed car windows and hurled stones at houses.

Settlers said a "friction that included mutual rock throwing" ensued, and one of them argued that they only came to the Palestinian village after its residents came to Yitzhar and attacks settlers there.

edit: I just googled Yitzhar to look whether such an attack really happened. Look at what I found on the wiki:

The New York Times has described Yitzhar as "an extremist bastion on the hilltops commanding the Palestinian city of Nablus ... [where] a local war is ... being waged"... among the most extreme Israeli settlers, and regularly clash with members of the Israeli security forces and local Palestinian civilians.

In 2013 they've thrown rocks in different incidents at 3 schoolbuses, injuring several girls. They've also attacked IDF outposts in the past, and soldiers just watched them. Rarely was anyone of them arrested.

So this incident is nothing new. As for whether an Yitzhar resident was recently attacked, I don't know. I've not found anything about it. It may have happened or it may have just been an excuse used. Here is a list of quite damning violent incidents involving Yitzhar (both as perpetrator and victims)

It's in hebrew, but according to google translate Arabs did come close to Yitzhar and threw stones, injuring a settler. Afterwards they were driven back into their village by security forces. Following this settlers went to the village and attacked it.

I dont understand how its antisemitic to call Israel out on this... or how we as humans allow a people who we fought to liberate from the Nazis... is now doing the same kind of thing to others... its illogically and not right.

With Netanyahu’s recent quotes about annexing the west bank, I expect lots of violence these couple of months. Especially from Israeli settlers.
