Also, keep that stuff private. Sharing family photos now and then is one thing, but posting images of your kid on the internet is like broadcasting a photo album, and there’s a reason it’s used as an embarrassing trope in movies. I’d be mortified as hell if I grew up to find out that my early days were documented and preserved forever where absolutely anyone with an internet connection could see them.

My best friend didn’t have Facebook until last year. 4 or 5 years ago his wife made him an account and was the only one with access to it. She would would write on her wall using his account and say things like “you’re the best babe, I love you so much”. Then she would log into her own account and reply to what she wrote saying “omg, you’re so sweet, I love you too”. It was so weird. I asked my friend about it and he wasn’t even aware that she had made an account pretending to be him but didn’t seem to care either way. I thought it was really fucking weird
