When I was in school, i can't remember if it was History or Social Studies class, the teacher taught us the basics of all major religions such as Christianity (and Catholicism), Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, etc. It gave us the chance to understand where everybody comes from in their ideologies and in a way be more acceptable toward them. I'm not a fan of making The Bible a mandatory single study in school, but if it was just a small lesson of a class with other religions like this to understand the world we live in it might encourage more tolerance.
