So he actually surprised me first with a commission from Dan for Christmas last year after months of planning. It was a drawing of us at a campsite in Maine we regularly visit.. similar style to this one featuring some of our favorite Pokémon! He got it printed on a 18 x 24 canvas and it hangs beautifully above my bed. His birthday is tomorrow and I’ve been working with Dan on this for about a month. He’s been absolutely amazing to work with and super accommodating with any changes I requested, despite some being extremely last minute. I also want to include that this was over the course of him being acutely ill and requiring an expensive surgery soon. He never used that as an excuse to delay anything. In fact, I wasn’t aware until he sent me the final copy. He’s currently taking donations and will be raffling some commissions to those donating! Any who, I finally got this printed today (also on an 18 x 24 canvas) and can’t wait for his reaction! All of my friends whom I’ve shown this to have been baffled by how much this resembles our actual engagement photos! My hope is to get a third one when we get married so we can have a set of three for the game room in our future home together💞
