This happened to me. I had to sit next to the guy that dumped my ass for the rest of the flight.
Edit: more detail. It was a group trip to Waikiki. Apparently during the trip, he and his ex shared memories about a previous Hawaii trip. It was planned, I learned later, that his ex planned to reignite the relationship during our trip.
So, I was really crushed because both were good friends of mine.
Edit 2: I became friends with both of them at the same time. I didn't date a friend's ex... I'm not the smartest man by far, but please stop saying I'm an idiot.
