Somehow it always surprises me that NYC is almost dead center in the megalopolis. Maybe because it always takes an eternity to get to DC on 95. Almost always worse than going to Boston.

Why is the population density so low on the Delmarva Peninsula? Its proximity to Washington and Baltimore seem like it would have a bigger population than it does.
