I'm pretty sure this is Mutanabbi Street in Baghdad. Super important historical place for the cultural history of Iraq, namely literature, art, poetry, politics, etc. In 2007 a car bomb killed almost 60 people here and was pretty devastating, both physically and symbolically... Most Iraqis saw it as an attack on the freedom of information, exchange of ideas, open debate, etc.
