I live in a tropical climate in east Africa. I was helping my boyfriend clean his house when I found this little cup with this brown sack-type thing on the bottom of it. He thinks it’s some kind of bug egg. Whatever it is, I don’t like it, but I kind of need to know.

So how would you dispose of this correctly. Boil water and put the cup in for five minutes then bin the roach remains?
