My sister had this game, and I was able to beat it, but it took a lot of practice. I think the stampede level took the most tries. Beating Scar was kind of weird. You had to do the rolling grab/throw as adult Simba to toss him off the cliff just like in the movie. The game gave no indication that you had to do this.
My sister loved that game. When ever I’d get stuck, I’d just hand the controller over to her to get past the hard part. She’d then hand it back and I’d continue on. Went on like that until I beat it.
Well... until she beat it. I think I played a total of 5 minutes. She was pretty awesome.
Should see me play dark souls. Been playing that since PC release. Can’t wait to see the second boss!

In the options screen Press Right, A, A, B, Start and the Cheat screen will appear. It gives level select and invicibility. Fork over the $20 pops
