My grandaddy would make these super yummy frappe's for the family every time we got together; he'd put Hershey's dark chocolate syrup in it and pile it up with whipped cream.
Last Christmas I got him a bottle of some fancy dark chocolate sauce to use and he said he'd have to save it for something special. Sadly, he passed away because of an accident just two weeks after the New Year. I know it's kind of silly, but I ended up focusing on that chocolate sauce and I was so worried he never got a chance to use it, because I really thought he'd enjoy it.
Later on, my husband and I were at my grandaddy's house getting some stuff taken care of, when he pointed out the bottle of chocolate on the counter. I picked it and was so happy to realize he had used almost the entire thing. I cried over that silly bottle of chocolate sauce, but for some reason, it really meant a lot to me.
Get him another bucket of those chocolates. You never know how much time you have to share in those sweet moments 🍫💖
