For those unaware, the cut scenes in Halo 2 anniversary weren't real time, in engine footage. They were worked on by Blur Studios. Most people in this subreddit will recognise their work on Destiny 2's trailers, and the cinematics for The Old Republic, among other things. They were also responsible for the test footage of the original Deadpool, the footage that got leaked and strong-armed fox into green-lighting it.

The halo 2 remaster is the measure I use for remasters.
It looked like how I remember it. It felt exactly the same and yet, was immeasurably better.
Halo 2's remaster was absolutely perfect.
