This isn't unusual. Almost 3/4 of DWP 'assessments' denying disabled people benefits are later overturned at Tribunal by an impartial judge. My wife broke her back at work during an industrial accident, and the DWP said she could still hold our baby to her breast for five mins (with help), so she got 0 points (later 24 points at Tribunal). Then DWP took away her ESA, saying that although she now had an indefinite PIP award, that didn't mean she couldn't work, so they gave her 0 points for ESA instead... and around and around we go. It's ridiculous.
