the story was false and the photographer said its actually of a mother cheetah teaching her cubs how to kill. the mother cheetah comes in and strangles the gazelle shortly after because her cubs arent getting the job done. it won a bunch of awards when it was taken in 2013

also apparently the one holding the throat in OPs picture is the mother, the cubs continue to practice on the gazelle as she takes it down for good
