As a Parks and Rec employee, THANK YOU to anyone who has ever helped clean up a park. This river used to be covered in trash and it's pristine again because of one of you. I hope #TrashTag never ends.

Look how pretty it is now even on my shitty phone camera 😍

Edit: Damn this blew UP! Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions or would like to know more! Happy park cleaning 😊

Edit edit: I promise I didn't pawn my job off on the public lol. I'm a safety inspector so trash pickup isn't one of my daily duties. Just wanted to thank the guests who did and spread the word about the most eco friendly viral hashtag campaign ever.

Edit x100: I got my rivers/parks messed up since I go to so many. This is Bullfrog Creek at a small community park known as Vance Vogel Sports Complex in Riverview, not Alafia or Hillsborough river (though those rivers do have skinny/shallow "creek" parts that look just like this too!).

Keep those PMs coming if I miss your question! I also have more shitty nature pics on my social media

Nice! Now you won't have to take your proposal binder to Washington DC to try and secure federal funding to clean the Pawnee River FL river
