That's awesome! But question from somebody who's mildly autistic....how do you give these to people without making them uncomfortable? A lot of times when I try and compliment somebody they just look uncomfortable :/

I work in Central London and spend a lot of time on the tube. I also think I'm a pretty empathetic person. Sometimes you see people who just look like could really do with a compliment. They usually are really nicely presented, and you can sort of tell in their body language that they're out of their comfort zone and have probably dressed up - either for an interview, or an event, or sometimes just because. Hell sometimes I decide to just put in a little extra effort for work. I'm always so, so tempted to compliment these people - men and women - because I want them to know that someone has noticed their efforts. But I'm always so worried it would come across as creepy for a guy on his own to say that to someone.

Meanwhile there's a train cleaner every morning at Stratford station who will go through and talk to every person on the carriage and usually offer at least a few compliments. One time he even lifted up my legs to get a better look at my "really nice shoes." Absolutely made my day.

I have like 500 cards that I got printed because they were like $5 that say “you’re beautiful have a lovely day”. I still have 490 of them in my dresser
