The number of people who see “stem cell” and have no fucking clue what’s going on needs to stop. These cells were not obtained from fetal tissue. This incredible scientific achievement was done by replacing bone marrow (which is comprised of endogenous hematopoietic stem cells, not dead baby cells) from the sick individual with healthy bone marrow (again, normally existing stem cells that are from healthy adults). Enough with this absolute bullshit nonsense that “stem cell” means “fetal tissue.” There are very, very few instances in research that require embryonic stem cells, because we’ve figured out how to easily reprogram potentiated cells back into pluripotent stem cells. Do some research before we start supporting false information just because someone spat it into Trump’s face.
