Then we can finally get rid of fucking ounces. How do I not hear people constantly complain about the fact that ounces can be either a measurement of weight or volume? Am I missing something?
Edit: I've read that if a recipe says ounces and not "fluid ounces" it normally means weight, but this isn't a strict rule and the fact that the distinction needs to be made is a problem.

Here in uk we have both we measure distance and speed in miles but everything else in metric just to keep you on your toes
