This reminds me of an old comedy bit where the guy said he’d pay someone dressed all crazy to come walking in, go right up to the casket and loudly announce “checkmate” then leave. Causing all in attendance to believe he had a nemesis

Pay a second person to actually sit in the chairs, notice the mysterious person, comment, “they actually came” and nod at the mysterious guest giving them the cue to sneak back into the trees
