Canada in 2018 still treats Indigenous people pretty badly. I live up in the territories and the discrimination here against them is rampant, its so sad
Edit: I did an essay on Canadian Residential Schools and their effects on the 150,000 children they forcibly took away from their families, effects that also affects the following generations as well. Here are a couple of readings I used for my essay. Also the last residential school closed in the 90s
This is one of those double standards that I'm surprised still exists. It's very blatantly racist, and everyone constantly complains how the media is PC, and yet they still do shit like this.
This article about the Disney princess made me so mad. They made the cops look like terrible people and you had to get 10 paragraphs in to see that she was actively drunkenly pinning a cop with her car.
