My grandma will be 97 in about two weeks. She has been “ready to go” for some time. She has had to endure the death of so many people younger than her. Last July my daughter was born - her first great grandchild. When she first held her she said “I waited for you” and that “it was worth living.” The baby has brightened every day for her since.
