It's things like this that they will be talking about when they are adults, sitting around a table drinking wine/beer. One of them will say, "Remember when Aunt Karen made us a drive-in movie theater in her back yard? That was cool!"
My mom did a “drive in” for all the kids in the neighborhood once every summer. We had a projector that displayed the movie on the garage and every year there was a theme. We made tickets and handed them out to the neighborhood, gave out glow sticks and us kids made “brochures”. We had a “concession stand”, a popcorn and cotton candy maker. One year we did Charlie and the Chocolate factor and all of the candy was Wonka Candy. All of the money we made off of concessions went to a charity that we had picked for that year. We looked forward to it every year. The best memories.
