How about... Instead of letting people die horrible deaths, causing all kinds of problems to the living (because diseases don't just kill on the spot), or allowing it to morph into a "super bug" - we just somehow prevent pregnancies to begin with.
People don't have to die horrible deaths, stupid young people don't suddenly have a heavy responsibly that will weigh down the rest of their lives, and population begins to reduce healthily.
Wins all around.
