The little face drawing KILLS me... It's like the flag owner is hoping the thief will view the sign and understand the hurt, pain and desperation they have caused this hero veteran. I'm guessing for that to happen though, there needs to be empathy, compassion and a conscience present in the first place.

When my parents lived in the states they had their Union Jack nicked.
Dad posted leaflets through the local doors. He didn’t get his flag back, but someone felt bad and bought him a new one. Thanks dude.
