Just to point out: snow in Italian is 'neve'. Alone. 'La neve' is 'the snow'.

I personally think that "lumi" is one of the more beautiful words in the Finnish language. I even hinted some of my German friends of the word when they were thinking of a name for their Samoyed puppy. Now there's a big and fluffy Lumi winning over hearts in Northern Germany.
