I have one of these around most of my house. Atlanta gets a fuckton of rain, and these things work like a charm. The shitty part is you have to constantly be maintaining them. Rocks get burried, weeds grown, and worst of all leaves get caught and clog it the fuck up. Still, better than my basement flooding.
- There is this one dude in Arizona that channeled the rain so perfectly that he was the only guy on the block with grass and shrubbery. He managed to convince the local government to allow residents to break up and shape the street curbs to maximize rainfall. If I find it on YT, I'll post it.
