I once went to fill up at a station and it would play ads when dispensing gas. Apparently only one company wanted to buy ad space, and the ad was about 5 seconds long, and it continuously looped the entire time the pump was on (it also pumped suuuuper slow). I got so angry I only put in enough gas to get to the next town over, then bought gas there.

You can mute these by pressing one of the gray buttons near the screen. At least you can at the Marathon near me.
