To people questioning if this is animal abuse and relating it to parents piercing their infants ears- a cats ear is cartilage covered by skin and fur. The earlobe of a human is just skin. While I personally think it's wrong to pierce a babies ears at all, no piercer in their right mind would pierce their cartilage. That had to have been extremely painful for the kitten and it is absolutely animal abuse.
