I was being tailgated a few weeks ago and two deer jumped out on the road in front of me. They weren't close enough that I needed to slam my breaks but I still needed to break pretty hard and come to a complete stop. After the deer crossed the road the tailgater stayed back pretty far... I think it scared the crap out of him.

Driving back to college from Thanksgiving break several years ago I turned on to a canyon highway and they must have closed the road about 5 minutes after I got on to it. There were huge snow drifts piling in the road like I had never seen before.

Thankfully I caught up to a small line of vehicles and leading the charge was a dude in a big pickup that had a plow on the front. He was busting through the drifts and making the way safe for about 10 of us behind him, only going like 20 mph, but there was no way in hell you would want to pass this guy.

Once we finally come out of the canyon on to a straightaway I see something in my side mirror- some moron in a tiny little Tokyo drift car, spoiler and all, had decided it was too slow and he was gonna pass everyone. I shook my head and watched him go by the truck leading the way. Lo and behold not 5 minutes later our entire little convoy was stopped on the road and the guy with the truck was pulling this dipshit out of the ditch.

When I was a freight hauler I was driving east on I-40 about twenty miles east of Gallup, NM headed for the continental divide. It was late at night and big silver dollar sized snow flakes were falling and the roadway was snow packed. The flakes were drifting to the ground and It felt like I was floating in space. This gave me a bit of vertigo. I could only do about 30mph and had a pretty good line of vehicles behind me. A four wheeler decided I was going way to slow so he passed me. As soon as they got around me I think they experienced the same sensation of drifting in space cause they went back into the left lane and slowed down till I got back in the lead again. It took me an hour to get out of that part of the storm and clearer skies. One of the longest hours of my driving career.
