Could it be that the unvaccinated child has, gosh I don't know, caught a virus? Maybe even flu (though she doesn't sound ill enough for it to be flu).

FFS, the whole reason behind the schools flu vaccine programme was to prevent the spread of flu amongst the little plague carriers know as children and vulnerable people. To opt out based on some vague, unsubstantiated feeling that the flu mist must be bad is just stupidity.
