I remember having a bad dry cough in a lecture and after coughing about 10 consecutive times I tried to hold the next cough in because I could feel the pure annoyance of everyone around me. My eyes started tearing up and I could hear my throat and lungs screaming at me asking me "WHY? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO US?" It was honestly the most distressing thing that's ever happened to me this year
