Of course this is awesome they did that, but from another angle its goddamn amazing they got the chance to. Cant tell you how much trash ive held onto that was unmarketable but saved anyway incase a time like this occured to help somebody
Someone I know lost a hubcap, couldn't find the same ones to replace the missing one. So she got two and put them on one side of the car. Explained, "You can't see both sides of the car at the same time... nobody is ever going to notice." The logic of that blew my mind.
Coming out of church o e day, a guy approaches my dad saying they drive the same van as we do and he also only has 3 hubcaps like we do, so we should flip a coin for one of them that way one of us gets a full set. My dad went for it and lost a hubcap. The interaction still made my day though lol.
