I once decided to get hammered at 6am at the airport to counteract my lack-of-sleep misery. Ended up having a cracking time in the indoor smoking booth with some people who were about to move to Costa Rica to start a self-sustaining farm. People ended up buying me "rounds" of half liter cans, and it really ended up feeling like a great night out. Except it was 6 am!

Atlanta didn't serve alcohol until 9am. Salt Lake City wouldn't serve more than 2 drinks unless I ordered food.
It ruins my airport experience when the local laws remind me that I'm not away in some special place.
