I'm almost completely blind, but I've been a Pokemon fan since the 90s. I've always felt left out because I could never play the handheld Pokemon games..until now. Thank you, Nintendo. It's not perfect in terms of accessibility, but it's enough for me.

I'm sad no one set you up with an emulator via a computer to get the hand held games on a big screen long before now. Waiting so long was not necessary. You should play. the first 3 gens are my favorite!

Reminds me of back when I played FFXIV, we had a woman in our guild who was near blind and like you had to get right up to the screen to see the guild chat.

Such a lovely woman, we ran her through all the content we could find because she deserved to enjoy it just as much as anyone else.

I'm really happy for you that you're finally able to enjoy Pokémon!
