Their ‘fans’ (parents) are waiting with signs and banners cheering them on. As they step out of the limo onto a red carpet, their teacher announces each ‘millionaire’ by name. They also sign autographs.”
We had a millionaires lunch at my school! We got pizza and soda and the librarian and principal served us. As little 4th graders we felt like royalty. One of my favorite memories and definitely motivated me to read. :)
