Just had a thread a few days ago about a white guy opening fire on cops who was taken alive anyway somehow. Gonna need criminal charges for this guy who can't be bothered to not be a police stereotype
You roll up on the scene and you see a gun but miss the security guard uniform?
In the military, if you accidentally kill the wrong person or an unarmed person, you would go to prison. If you're a correctional officer in a prison, if you were to do anything that would cause harm to an inmate you would go to jail. This is why I hold cops to not just a higher standard, but I hold them to a reasonable standard.
Cops get away with this bullshit with zero accountability saying things like "it's a stressful job" and "they shouldn't be afraid to do their job" I can't think of any job off the top of my head where you can get away with this much negligence and still have the job let alone have people make excuses for you.
